About this policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Exousia Ministries Inc (“Exousia,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit or use the exousiagroup.com website (the “Site”). For purposes of this Policy, “personal information” means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or can reasonably be associated with an individual.

This Policy covers the Site only. The payment pages described below have their own policies.

By using the Site or sending us information through it, you acknowledge the practices described here.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Inquiry form. When you use the Let’s Talk form, we collect your name, email address, organization, the service you are interested in, your message, and your phone number if you choose to give it.
  • Careers interest form. When you express interest in working with us, we collect your name, email address, the role you are interested in, your message, your phone number and any LinkedIn or portfolio link if you choose to give them, and the resume file you upload. Resumes often contain further personal details, such as your address, work history, and education.
  • Email. If you write to us directly, we keep the message and your email address.

Information from purchases

When you buy something, you check out on a Stripe page and Stripe collects your payment details, billing details, and, for physical items, your shipping address. We receive order information from Stripe, such as your name, email address, what you bought, the amount, and your shipping address where relevant. We do not receive your full card number.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. We also measure how visitors use the Site and how fast its pages load, as described under Cookies and analytics below.

How we use information

  • to respond to your inquiry and talk through whether and how we can help;
  • to consider you for current or future openings, if you sent a careers interest form;
  • to fulfil your order, for example by emailing a download or login details, shipping a book, or sending workshop join details;
  • to operate, secure, and improve the Site, including understanding how visitors find and use it and measuring how fast it loads; and
  • to meet our legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Where your information goes

We use a small number of service providers to run the Site. They handle personal information only to provide their service to us.

  • Sanity. The content platform behind the Site. Form submissions are saved there, where our team reviews them. Resumes are not saved there; they reach us only by email (see Resend below).
  • Resend. An email delivery service. When a form is submitted, Resend delivers a notification email containing the submission, including any resume, to our team inbox at info@exousiagroup.com. When you buy something, it delivers your download link to you, for digital products, and a notification of the order, including your name, email address, and what you bought, to our team.
  • Stripe. Our payment processor, described in the next section.
  • Our hosting provider. Serves the Site and may keep standard server logs.
  • Vercel. Provides the page-performance measurement described under Cookies and analytics.
  • Google. Provides Google Analytics, the visitor statistics described under Cookies and analytics.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business. Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe-hosted checkout pages. The Site never sees or stores your card number or other payment credentials. Stripe’s handling of your information is governed by Stripe’s privacy policy.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the Site, how they found it, and which pages and actions are useful to them. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser that let it recognize repeat visits. It records the pages you view, the site that referred you, your device type, browser, and operating system, your approximate location (such as city or region, which Google derives from your IP address without storing the address), and actions such as submitting one of our forms, clicking a phone number or email address, or starting a checkout.

We do not send Google the contents of our forms, or your name, email address, or phone number. We have not turned on Google’s advertising features for the Site, so this information is not used to show you ads, and Google Analytics keeps it for 14 months. Google’s use of it is governed by how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can opt out by blocking cookies in your browser or by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Page performance

We also use Vercel Speed Insights, which measures how quickly pages load for visitors. Each measurement records the page address, the type of device and operating system, the browser, the network speed, and the country. Vercel states that these measurements are anonymous and are not tied to any individual visitor or IP address, and that they cannot be used to reconstruct a browsing session across pages.

Other cookies

The Site does not use advertising pixels or social media tracking scripts. Sites you reach through links from ours, such as Stripe’s checkout pages and social media sites, may set their own cookies under their own policies. If we add other analytics, cookies, or tracking to the Site in future, we will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.

How long we keep information

We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, including to respond to you, to keep business and tax records, and, for resumes, to consider you for current and future openings. We delete or anonymize it when it is no longer needed, or sooner if you ask us to and we are not required to keep it.

Your choices and requests

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, including a resume you sent us. Write to info@exousiagroup.com from the email address you used, tell us what you would like, and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may keep information we are legally required to keep.

To stop us from contacting you, tell us at the same address. For information held by Stripe, please contact them directly.

Security

We use reputable service providers and limit access to submissions to team members who need them. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for adults and organizations and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to info@exousiagroup.com and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we add a feature or a service provider. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. Please check back occasionally.
