Administration

The award is the beginning, not the finish line — we manage reporting, audits, and renewals for as long as you hold the grant.

After the award

The check clears. Then the actual obligations start.

A federal award arrives with a reporting calendar, procurement rules, documentation standards, and an audit threshold — and your organization is liable for all of it, whether or not anyone on staff has done it before. Most grant writers are gone by this point. Funds are returned over paperwork far more often than over misuse.

How it works

The administration process

The compliance work most partners disappear before you need.

  1. 01

    Compliance setup

We build the reporting calendar and documentation systems your award requires from day one.

  2. 02

    Ongoing reporting

We prepare and submit your periodic and annual reports, and stay in front of audits instead of reacting to them.

  3. 03

    Renewal and continuation

As your award year closes, we prepare the renewal or continuation application so funding doesn't lapse.

What changes

Audit season stops being an event.

When documentation is built as the work happens rather than reconstructed a year later, an audit becomes a retrieval exercise. Reports go out on time because the calendar was set the week the award landed, and the renewal is drafted before the current year closes.

What's included

An administration engagement typically includes:

  • Compliance calendar and reporting system setup
  • Preparation and submission of periodic and annual reports
  • Audit readiness and renewal application support

The Full Lifecycle

Administration is where the other three get tested.

Compliance work only looks routine when readiness, research, and writing did their job upstream. See where administration fits against the other four services.
